Today was the first day that I didn’t take my kids school pictures together. It felt so odd getting ready this morning with Jake still in bed. He will begin at UNLV in two weeks. My daughter, Mackenzie, starts her sophomore year today! How is this even possible?!?! High school has treated her much better than middle school (thank God!). She was so excited to go back today to meet up with her friends and see which electives she got and most importantly which lunch she got! I just hope she soaks in all this year provides for her and cherishes every good moment and learns from every less than good moment. She has a great group of friends, teachers and coaches who genuinely care for her which will only add to her success and hopefully help build her confidence. Here’s to the class of 2021!
